Science Week 2026

Leventhorpe celebrated World Science Week 2026 with a week-long Science Fair commencing on 13th March with the grand incredible finale on the Friday!

WHAT IS SCIENCE WEEK?

Science Week is a fun time to discover secrets of our world and explore experiments to find out new things. Events are taking place across the week for both Ks3 and Ks4. It is an exciting time to study fun questions and for the year 8s, share their knowledge of science and display experiments in the Science Fair.

WHY DO WE HAVE SCIENCE WEEK?

We have a Science Week to inspire young children to learn about science and explore how our world works.

WHAT WAS THIS YEAR'S THEME?

The theme of science week this year is “What’s your question?”. This gives people a chance to ask their questions about science or science week!
