A Message From Mrs Crosby

Hello, I am Mrs Crosby and I am one of the Assistant Heads at Leventhorpe and am Director of Sixth Form. Alongside this I am also one of the DDSLs (Deputy Designated Senior Lead). If a member of staff, parent or student has any concerns about the safeguarding and wellbeing of a student then this is reported to one of the DSLs. We will then speak with the person concerned and take any action deemed necessary to support that student.

Students are encouraged to talk to us if they have a concern or to speak to another member of staff that they trust in school who will then forward it to us. I tend to deal with any safeguarding issues relating to Key Stage 5, however, I am also available to hear any concerns from younger students. My office is opposite B10 in the science block and students are welcome to speak to me here.

The safeguarding of our students is the number one priority and responsibility of all staff at Leventhorpe. If you are worried about something relating to yourself or a friend then you should always tell a member of staff and then Mr Francis, Mrs Price or myself will be able to advise further.
