Managing Stress

Coming into exams is a tough time for anyone, especially those who are preparing for A-levels or GCSEs.

If you find yourself struggling or worrying about exams the best thing to do is to take a breather and relax for a while. Once relieved, you will find you feel prepared and ready to take on any revision notes or past papers that need completing.

There are many ways to relieve stress and every person will have different ways that work for them.

Here are some ways you can find relief from a heavy workload:

- Make time for yourself: The main thing to focus on when studying is yourself, so if you need some time away from work, then take a moment and relax with your favourite show or take 30 minutes just for yourself.

- Talk to others about how you feel: This is so important when studying. Others will be in the same boat as you and by discussing how you feel with others, you will feel better about it.

- Try to find a balance: By having a structure in place you will find the workload easier to handle. By creating a checklist, the workload will feel less heavy and you can focus on fewer tasks at any one time. This will make work feel less overwhelming and more manageable.
