Revision Tips For All

Revision is something that not many people enjoy - it’s time-consuming and takes effort. However, there are ways to make it more fun and easier to get through.

1. Start Early

The earlier you start revising for upcoming exams, the better. You will be able to easily recall information if you spread your revision out.

2. Snack, Don’t Binge

Doing small amounts of revision can often increase the chances of remembering what you need to. If you try to revise large chunks of work at once, you will overload your brain and not be able to recall it at all.

3. Take Breaks

Leading on from the previous point, taking breaks is very important. It gives your mind time to relax and recharge. If you seem to find yourself getting distracted and bored, take a break. You will be more likely to remember the things you need to.

4. Dedicated Study Space

Having a specific area to go to, to revise, means you can get into the revision mindset. You will be able to get more work done at a higher quality.

5. Practice Exams

Doing practice exams and exam questions can help with memory retention and knowledge recall in the long term.
